My name is Ryan Kemper. I'm not just the webmaster of TheAirsoftSniper.com, but also an active member in the sport of Airsoft! I currently reside in Southeastern Ohio where my team, Team Juggernauts, is also based out of.
I am the sniper for Team Juggernauts and a strong believer that simply using a long-range rifle does not make a person a sniper. It takes experience, skill in many areas, and the ability to take extraordinary shots from farther than normal distances. I'm continually trying to learn and improve in all the above areas.
Being a sniper is not centered around having the most expensive rifle or the best-quality camouflage. These are important, but being a sniper takes discipline, quick thinking, knowledge of his or her surroundings, and much more.
I've found through personal experience, online forums and fellow players that the airsoft sniper is often an overlooked opponent and teammate. Snipers have no interest in the action-junkies, addicted to how many rounds per minute they can fire off in battle. We're about using the environment for protection and concealment, placing fear in our opponents (most fear the unseen and unknown), and making every shot count.
